We are pleased to announce that IPG is a participant of the Autodesk Technology Impact Program, receiving a donation of five licenses for the complete product development and manufacturing software collection for three years, to advance the development of our flameless generator technology.
IPG’s innovation in fuel-flexible flameless combustion represents a significant step in addressing the environmental impact of the distributed fuel-based power sector. Our technology, designed to deliver pollutant-free power from any fuel, can support global decarbonisation targets and improve air quality for millions by enabling the transition from fossil fuel to net-zero- and zero-carbon alternatives.
“Climate action failure and the impact of air pollution on public health are two of the greatest challenges we are facing globally. It is our mission to reinvent distributed fuel-based power and bring to market a power generation technology that can enable businesses, across many industries, to end their reliance on the diesel generator,” said Toby Gill, CEO of IPG.
“We are thrilled Autodesk recognise the positive environmental impact of our technology and we look forward to leveraging the full suite of their design software to contribute to a more sustainable future with the IPG Flameless Generator,” said Gill.
The suite of software donated by Autodesk contains over 50 different products, including Inventor, Vault PDM, Inventor Nastran and Inventor CAM.
“Inventor is an invaluable tool for IPG, through which we design, develop and analyse our technology, and create the drawing, assembly and build files,” said Brett Moolenschot, Product Manager of IPG. “As IPG begins to move towards productionisation of our technology, this support from Autodesk will allow our engineering team to work quickly and efficiently and make the transition from our prototype to market ready product more seamless.”
