About us
IPG is a British climate-tech company reinventing fuel-based power for the renewable future, with our breakthrough flameless generator technology.
Reinventing
fuel-based power for the net-zero future
IPG was founded in 2016, with a mission to enable business reliant on the diesel generator to switch to renewable alternatives in the face of a transitioning and fragmenting fuel market.
With decades of collective entrepreneurial experience in the energy sector, IPG’s founding team and advisory board came together with a vision for a product that can deliver the dispatchable and secure power typical of diesel generators, but in a way that is compatible with our clean air and net zero future.
At the core of this is our breakthrough flameless combustion process, which delivers pollutant-free power from any fuel to de-risk the switch from diesel and natural gas for businesses.
Backed by academic institutions, government agencies and pioneering manufacturing and commercial partners, IPG's talented and experienced team is set to bring this climate-change solution to market.
"The coming energy transition is as significant as the first industrial revolution and will need a similar level of innovation and disruption. IPG’s technology will play a leading role in this transition by allowing the use of clean fuels, at high efficiencies in a wide variety of uses."
Ian Marchant, Advisory Board member, IPG

"Grid access and capacity issues, as well as the infeasibility of on-site solar and wind, is a barrier for EV charging in many locations.
Highways England is funding this project to assess how IPG's turbine technology could present a solution for delivering power at a competitive cost while improving air quality, that would alleviate grid stress in high-use areas, as well as enabling remote locations to facilitate EV charging.”
Brian Cull, Senior Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer, Highways England
